The Beginnings of Something

Well, I guess it's time to jump on the blogger bandwagon. Obviously I am new to this...so read lightly. I found myself becoming increasingly intrigued by others' blogs (not before sorting through loads of garbage however). I guess it's not so much that I care enough to read about their daily happenings; rather an interest as to whether or not blogging in general is worth the time and energy. After the first several that I stumbled upon, I quickly lost interest. I can't quite remember if it was the lack of interesting topics, or just simply the inadequate amount of thought that seemed tied in to most blogs (not to mention the usual annoying "welcome to my life" theme of most). It wasn't until I ran across a certain blog, however, that I realized blogging could be an enjoyable activity worth not only my own, but others time as well (even if it just happens to be that my distant cousin twice removed is the only one who stops in to read). My inspired blogger, who will remain nameless, didn't write in an overly impressive manner, nor did he ramble on about his greatest adventure. The simplicity, I suppose is what drew me in- the realness of what was being said. So in that, I found inspiration to write; which is weird considering I have always dreaded English courses. Although this introductory blog appears incredibly dry and dulling, I would like to promise greater posts in the future (although I will in no means oblige to such a tall order). This blogging adventure appears as if it has started and I am frightfully excited. If everything being said thus far hasn't intrigued any in the slightest, then I'm afraid I have failed already. However, I suppose this "blogging" if not beneficial to anyone, is in the least, beneficial to my own accounts of what appears to be rambling around in my cranial cavity. Maybe someday when most of my memory has failed me, I can check out that one blog called "a big mess" or something to that extent and recollect what I felt was lost.

Isn't this the part where I sign off with an incredibly witty line? Well, you guessed it.. I got nothin'.
